“We’re immensely proud to be able to host such inspiring women leaders at our office in Shoreditch, to share their expertise and experience with aspiring tech professionals.”

“Mindspace typifies the future of work, which is one of diversity and inclusion. There is still much work to be done, but providing platforms where people can come together to debate such topics and explore solutions is an important step in the right direction.”

VP of HR
Mindspace

Rooster was brought on to promote and attract more business to boutique work space provider, Mindspace, and its two London locations.

To help Mindspace stand out in a highly competitive landscape, we felt that hosting meaningful events for existing members would leave us better equipped to shout about its offering to the press and attract new prospective clients.

In just 6 months, we successfully organised two events:

  • We hosted a ‘Women in Tech’ Panel titled “What I wish I’d know at the start of my tech career”, which included a panellist from Samsung and was moderated by The Verge UK. The panelists discussed a wide range of topics including: how much progress the tech industry is making towards redressing the gender imbalance issue; how the sector can be made even more accessible to people of different backgrounds; and what all tech professionals should be mindful of as they break into or progress within the industry.
  • Tickets sold out on the first day of going live on Eventbrite. We even provided complementary cider on the night, served by Brewdog-owned, apple-juicing pros and Rooster consumer client, Hawkes. The event was promoted in London Daily News and StartUps magazine, to name a few – and attended by Computer Weekly.
  • We sourced artwork from two incredible LGBTQ+ artists to display at the Shoreditch office throughout Pride Month, and hosted a Pride art exhibition which treated members to an intimate evening with the artists.

We also connected with events company Sofar Sounds, so that Mindspace members could benefit from regular live music performances in their office at the end of a long working day.
