Bringing a taste of Florida to Big Feastival.
A marquee decorated to entice engagement from festival goers to educate and spread the word. Rooster arranged every detail of the festival, from concept to fulfillment including decorations, logistics, suppliers, travel, stand build and a holiday competition.
The Big Feastival is a hugely popular three-day UK festival based in the Cotswolds at Alex James’ farm. It attracts 20,000 people per day with a focus on families. The festival offers cookery classes, headline music acts, arts & crafts, fairground rides, play areas, and a plethora of food and drink.
Visitors to the VSPC marquee took part in decorating tote bags and bucket hats, applied ‘Florida Style’ temporary tattoos, played cornhole, sat at our Instagram wall, received complimentary VSPC sunglasses, interacted with our St. Pete/Clearwater map, all while learning about the destination.
Consumers had the option of entering into a competition for a 7-night holiday for a family of four to St. Pete-Clearwater with Virgin Atlantic. We enticed over 700 entries and 262 opt-ins to our monthly destination newsletter, with all entries receiving a Virgin Atlantic ‘special offer’ after the event.
Seeking high profile, high footfall outdoor shows/events that reach our clients’ key target audiences, the Big Feastival activation engaged and educated UK consumers on St. Pete-Clearwater in Florida as a ‘must visit’ destination, planting the seed to ensure it’s on future consideration lists for a holiday.
