Clink Hostels Appoints Rooster to Launch New 628-Bed Dublin Hostel

Family-owned hostel group, Clink Hostels, has appointed integrated comms agency Rooster to manage its UK PR to help launch its newest property, Clink i Lár, in central Dublin.

Rooster will work together with Clink’s marketing team to not only promote the newest addition to its portfolio opening this September, but also to drive overall awareness of the hospitality brand in the UK.

Rooster will leverage its 24 years of media relations experience across the travel, consumer and business sectors to position the new hostel as a community-focused, stylish and affordable accommodation option for Brits travelling to Ireland’s capital, as well as increasing its share of voice within the media on hospitality industry insights and trends.

Established in 1997 by sisters Anne and Shelly Dolan, Clink now has six hostels across its portfolio – two in London, three in Amsterdam, and one soon to open in Dublin. The opening of Clink i Lár will mark the brand’s first property in Ireland, taking the sisters back to their hometown.

Clink offers much more than simply city accommodation – it prides itself on its genuine focus on the guest experience and community culture. Its vision is to make a difference by sparking the imagination of those who love travelling and engaging in new experiences. The six properties have been specially designed to be welcoming, social, vibrant, and friendly, in central locations popular with travellers young and old.

Marc Roebersen, Clink Hostel’s Chief Operating Officer, says: “Clink’s wonderful journey grows with the opening of the 628-bed hostel Clink i Lár in Dublin. Our first property in Ireland is very dear to us, as we’re a company with Irish roots.

“We’re proud to be partnering with Rooster, which has a strong background in hospitality and travel PR, and together look forward to getting the word out about one of Dublin’s hottest new openings.”

James Brooke, MD at Rooster says: “Clink is a respected and trusted hostel brand that has gone from strength to strength over the past 26 years, so we’re thrilled to be working with them to launch the new Dublin property. Our experience across the hospitality, hotel and youth travel space positions Rooster perfectly to work with Clink, and we look forward to delivering strong results over the coming months.”
