Our brief:

We were appointed by Center Parcs in May 2022, just a month before the well-known UK leisure destination was set to relaunch its conference and events proposition, following more than two years of closure due to the pandemic.

We were briefed to not only announce the relaunch and its revamped facilities to the tune of £2.5m but grow awareness of Center Parcs’ MICE offering amongst target audiences – both industry peers, agents and corporates, ultimately driving bookings.

Leveraging our expertise in positioning clients as thought leaders across a range of industries, we also set out to deliver a PR programme that would position Center Parcs as a thought leader and expert within the MICE industry and relevant industry verticals.

From day one, our PR campaign has operated with a digital-first approach, to boost SEO, and grow traffic to the website to support booking efforts.

Activity & results:

Within one month of PR activity:

We announced the reawakening of Center Parcs’ Corporate & Events offering with it’s £2.5m refurb, landing coverage in top tier MICE titles, PA Life and Conference News, and tier two verticals including The Business Travel Magazine, Business Travel News and Hotel Owner.

We attended several in-person meetings with journalists at key target MICE titles including PA Life and Hospitality & Events North at one of the industries leading tradeshows – The Meetings Show. These meetings resulted in several editorial opportunities and scheduled media visits to Woburn Forest.

We also updated the media with stats and insights on booking demand Center Parcs experienced just one month after launch; landing further coverage in top tier titles M&IT, Conference News and PA Life.

To date, all 15 pieces of coverage secured have been in print and digital newsletters.
