Hotel Update: Casa Cook, El Gouna, Introduces 29 New Deluxe Swim-Up Rooms

The five-star Casa Cook, El Gouna – a favourite among British visitors to the Egyptian resort town – will introduce a brand new room category this May, with 29 new swim-up suites, offering direct access to a semi-private pool featuring loungers and plush seating in Casa Cook’s renowned minimalist style. The new suites will launch on Monday 18 May with a complimentary launch event for guests, including live music from international DJs.

The rooms include Twin and King suites spanning 42 metres squared and suitable for couples, friends or families. This suite category can also be booked as part of a larger group booking for those keen to have completely private access of the pool. Inside, the rooms are decorated in earthy, bohemian tones and textures with spacious en suite bathrooms complete with natural bath amenities.

Opened to guests in 2019, Casa Cook has proved itself one of El Gouna’s top-rated hotels, with a Guest Review Index of over 97.9 over the past 15 months. Offering a variety of room types, from standard and double guest rooms to villas with private pool, each room features a chic modern décor, with villas boasting their own private terrace. The hotel is contemporary in its architecture with Arabic undertones, featuring earthy grey tones and rustic wooden features, creating a minimalist, yet luxurious and relaxed beach setting which blends seamlessly into its sandy surroundings.

The hotel, designed as a beachfront retreat, is centred around wellness, with an on-site spa complete with a pool, two saunas, steam rooms, plunge pools and a hammam, an open-air Yoga Shala in a shaded courtyard and a a well-equipped gym, complete with wooden exercise equipment- including rowing machines, to blend seamlessly with the décor. The hotel is also the first of its kind to open its very own kiteboarding centre on its private beach in partnership with Duotone, one of the world’s leading wind and water sport suppliers.

In addition to this, The Kitchen Club, available for breakfast and lunch, cooks up nutritious food each day, offering a carefully curated series of small places and wholesome dishes, intended to be enjoyed in a social setting at the restaurant’s long tables.
