First A350 Installed with AeroMobile Inflight Connectivity

AeroMobile expand inflight 3G connectivity with Singapore Airlines.
Leading inflight connectivity provider, AeroMobile, is delighted to announce the launch of its first connected Airbus A350 with Singapore Airlines.
Singapore Airlines’ inaugural long-haul flight for the newly-connected aircraft took place from Singapore to Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport.
Through this partnership, Singapore Airlines’ customers will be able to use their own mobile devices inflight just as they would on the ground. Further A350s entering the Airline’s fleet will be fitted with the 3G inflight connectivity service.
Singapore Airlines already offers inflight mobile connectivity on selected A380s and Boeing 777-300ERs and this shows their commitment to offering customers connectivity on board.
“We’re excited to be expanding our current connected fleet with our first ever A350. Asia is a key area of growth for us and we’re pleased Singapore Airlines continues to see the value of facilitating inflight connectivity for its customers,” said Kevin Rogers, CEO of AeroMobile.
AeroMobile is a registered mobile network operator which provides technology that allows the safe use of passengers’ own mobile phones onboard aircraft. The company has roaming agreements with over 335 network operators globally in more than 145 countries.
The service is easy to use; passengers simply turn on their mobile device to connect to the network and are billed directly by their mobile operator in the same way as roaming abroad.
