A Fond Farewell to the Wonderful Sakhita!

The wonderful Sakhita is off on her travels soon and so it only seemed fitting to head off to Adventure Bar in Covent Garden to raise a glass in her honour.

With the MD’s credit card (thanks James!) smoking from the tab behind the bar, we made it a team challenge to work through the entire list of cocktails. With rounds of Caipirinhas, Mojitos, Gin Brambles and Lynchburg Lemonades under our belts, the night quickly got into a joyful mood. Unsurprisingly there was also a strong correlation between the number of cocktails and the appreciation of the sing-along inspiring playlist… Some members of the team offered up some particularly ‘dazzling’ vocals to Summer of 69, but we’ll name no names! (ahem, Jo)

Just when we were starting to feel the call of empty stomachs rumbling, trays piled high with Caribbean inspired snacks arrived. The glad sight of skewers, plantain and slaw was definitely the perfect accompaniment to another round of cocktails (rude not to after all). The result was one happy, merry team. Big thumbs up to Adventure Bar from Team Rooster!

It was the perfect way to say goodbye to our very own adventurer.
