New dining outlets at Atmosphere Kanifushi Maldives complete resort’s culinary offering.
Atmosphere Kanifushi Maldives, a new premium all-inclusive resort in the Indian Ocean offering a value-for-money, hassle-free, five-star holiday experience, has just opened two additional dining outlets, further diversifying its already extensive culinary offering just four months after opening.
The resort’s all-new JUST VEG, the first purely vegetarian restaurant in the Maldives, redefines contemporary non-meat cuisine by experimenting with original and surprising flavour combinations. Serving mouth-watering Mediterranean, Arabic and Indian meat- and fish-free food and offering a special menu specifically for Jain cuisine.
With delicious mains such as Fettuccine with Almond Pesto, Shahi Vegetable Biryani, Tofu Curry Laksa and Paneer Butter Massala and delectable desserts including Carrot Halwa, Gulab Jamun and Mascarpone Tiramisu, JUST VEG chefs aim to delight the discerning palates of all foodies, whether devout vegetarians or committed carnivores.
For fans of Japanese fare, an authentic Teppanyaki experience can be had at Atmosphere’s new Teppanyaki Grill. Here, guests share a table around a large hotplate, where a theatrical chef whirls, twirls, juggles, flips and flames raw ingredients into a delectable dinner. Chilled or hot sake is an essential accompaniment.
As well as Sushi and Sashimi platters, noodles and soups, guests at the Teppanyaki Grill can also devour Filet Mignon and the freshest seafood, including tiger shrimps, scallops, squid or lobster.
These two new additions bring the resort’s restaurant count to five and with JUST VEG, offer a further dining option which can be enjoyed as part of Atmosphere’s premium all-guest all-inclusive Platinum Plus plan. The Teppanyaki Grill is the only restaurant on the island outside of the Platinum Plus plan, however, the Japanese eatery’s set menus offer outstanding value, allowing diners to choose from a range of fresh meat or seafood complemented by soup, rice and vegetables.
Atmosphere Kanifushi opened with three f&b outlets in December 2013, all of which are accessible to guests as part of the all-inclusive holiday plan. Atmosphere’s main restaurant, The Spice, offers a combination of sumptuous buffet selections, live cookery stations and grill, as well as hosting various theme nights and special occasion dinners.
Diners opting for smaller portions can choose from a variety of snack and finger foods throughout the day at the main, eastern facing pool bar, The Liquid, or on the western side on the island, at The Sunset pool and beachside bar, where a lunch menu is also served.
In addition to these options, guests are entitled to one special à la carte experience per week at The Sunset, which by night, transforms into a peaceful, softly lit location to take in the tranquil ocean views and savour speciality Mediterranean and Asian Fusion cuisine. There are also bespoke ‘Dine by Design’ options available, which include private candlelit dinners on the beach.
