Royal Air Maroc Launches Service Connecting London and Tétouan

The Moroccan flag carrier will operate two weekly flights between the two cities.
On Sunday 29 March 2026, Royal Air Maroc (RAM) – Morocco’s flag carrier – will operate the inaugural flight of its new London to Tétouan service.
The twice-weekly Royal Air Maroc AT1693 service will depart from London Gatwick (LGW) on Thursdays and Sundays at 19:45, arriving at Tétouan Sania Ramel (TTU) at 22:50 local time, with a flight duration of three hours and five minutes.
| Day | Flight | Departs LGW* | Arrives TTU* | Flight | Departs TTU* | Arrives LGW* |

On the north-eastern Mediterranean coast of Morocco, Tétouan is popularly known as the “daughter of Granada” given its Hispano-Moorish roots.
The northern city is located just minutes from the modern Tamuda Bay, a 15-kilometre coastline stretch where travellers can enjoy water-based activities like jet-skiing, water skiing, windsurfing and sea kayaking.
Tamuda Bay is also home to Morocco’s very first medical-aesthetic spa, located within the Royal Mansour Tamuda Bay, where guests can experience cutting-edge treatments such as thalassotherapy.
Tétouan also places travellers within just over an hour’s drive from both Tangier – another vibrant and cosmopolitan port city – and Chefchaouen – Morocco’s incredibly photogenic “blue pearl”, making the coastal retreat a convenient entry point for exploring the northern parts of the country.
In 2025, Morocco welcomed a record breaking 19.8 million tourists, representing a 14% increase on 2024’s result. The country aims to welcome well over 30 million tourists by 2030, when the country will co-host the FIFA World Cup.
Flights are available from £157 each way and can be booked via www.royalairmaroc.com.
