Ambassador Cruise Line Announces ‘Refer a Friend’ Scheme in Celebration of International Friendship Day

  • This International Friendship Day, Ambassador has launched a brand-new referral scheme, with referrer and the referred both able to enjoy up to £250 of Onboard Credit

  • Scheme has with no end date and can be combined with any other commercial offer

Ambassador Cruise Line, the UK’s premium value, no-fly cruise line, launched its ‘Refer a Friend’ scheme on Sunday 30 July to mark International Friendship Day. The purpose of International Friendship Day is to offer us the chance to step back and be thankful for our friendships worldwide.

Ambassador is delighted to reward both its valued guests and new guests with this scheme, which reflects the company’s ‘Sail with Friends’ brand pillar. With the ‘Refer a Friend’ scheme, guests can now claim up to £250 of onboard credit per cabin for each friend they refer who has never sailed with Ambassador before.

When the referred friend books for the first time, both referrer and new guest will receive:

  • £50 Onboard Credit – when they book a sailing from 7-14 nights
  • £100 Onboard Credit – when they book a sailing from 15-30 nights
  • £150 Onboard Credit – when they book a sailing from 31-50 nights
  • £250 Onboard Credit – when they book a sailing from 50+ nights

The scheme will be ongoing and can be combined with the other commercial offers run by Ambassador throughout the year. There is no limit to the number of friends that can be referred within a 12-month period, and if the referrer refers multiple friends on multiple different bookings, the onboard credit can be spread across the separate bookings or combined into one booking.

Guests can refer a friend online via the online form, or by quoting ‘Refer a Friend’ to Guest Services (existing bookings) or Reservations (new bookings).

With nine out of ten guests saying they would recommend a sailing with Ambassador, the company would like to thank each guest who has shared their Ambassador moments with loved ones and recommended the brand to their friends.

Whether guests are travelling solo or with others, Ambassador offers the perfect place to meet like-minded people and form friendships for life.
