Top UK Women in Business to Form Women in Leadership Panel Hosted by Dragons’ Den Star Steven Bartlett
22 August 2022 Samantha Anderson

To support the next generation of female leaders, 25 tickets are being given away to aspiring female leaders who are in education or just starting their careers.

Leading UK women in business are to form a panel next month hosted by Dragons’ Den star Steven Bartlett, debating key workplace issues from gender bias to the impact of female leaders on organisations.

BBC Radio One’s Mollie King will be joined by Jacqueline Gold CBE, CEO at Ann Summers, Grace Beverley, CEO at TALA, and Nicola Kilner, CEO at DECIEM to spearhead the “Women in Leadership” Power Panel, taking place at the Royal Opera House in London’s Covent Garden on Wednesday, 14th September.

The event is part of e-learning specialist THRIVE’s annual customer conference, THRIVE LIVE ’22, and will be attended by hundreds of delegates from organisations currently using the THRIVE platform, including Sky, DECIEM, Sysco, Nandos, Ted Baker, Krispy Kreme, Huel and Bally’s Interactive.

The audience will hear from each of the panellists about their journey to success, including how they overcame barriers, their top tips for aspiring leaders, and how to affect change for the future workforce.

To inspire and support the next generation of female leaders in business and tech, THRIVE are giving away complimentary tickets to the event to 25 young aspiring female leaders under 18.

Anyone attending college, university or starting out in their career are being invited to share what they’re most passionate about and why they want tickets to see these inspiring speakers live in September.

If you know someone who would love the opportunity, they can register here. The winners will be announced on the 19th August.

THRIVE’s Chief Marketing Officer, Cassie Gasson, said: “Whether it’s due to workplace discrimination or the unequal distribution of childcare labour – the stark truth is that business world still unfairly favours the success of men over women. That’s why we’re so excited to hear from some of the most inspiring career-driven women in the world today, to find out how they have navigated challenges and overcome setbacks. It’s so important that we take the time to celebrate these women’s wins and give them a platform to inspire the next generation of young women to follow in their footsteps. We’re also excited to be inviting young aspiring future leaders to the event with free tickets, so they can benefit from the insight our panellists will be sharing.”

THRIVE is the world’s first complete Learning and Skills Platform, helping forward-thinking L&D teams ditch their outdated learning management system and build totally addictive learning experiences that enable organisations to share knowledge and upskill collaboratively.

This year, THRIVE welcomed its 100th employee and 200th customer, with Primark, Financial Times, McLaren, Co-op and Howdens among the notable names joining the ‘THRIVE TRIBE’.
