15 March 2017 James Brooke

Travel packages to 72-hour Secret Solstice festival on sale now.

Offering revellers from around the world the chance to party under three days of sunshine, Iceland’s fastest-growing, low-cost airline WOW air has teamed up with the country’s hottest and fastest-growing music festival Secret Solstice, to offer a range of inclusive travel packages to this year’s much anticipated event.

Starting from £507* packages are available to book now, including flights to Iceland from all WOW air destinations, airport transfers, accommodation options ranging from on-site camping, hostels, guesthouses and luxury hotels, as well as the festival ticket.

The fourth instalment of Secret Solstice is set to take place in Reykjavik from 16-18 June 2017 and promises to be the biggest yet. With 72-hours of daylight and an ever-growing, world-class line-up including big names from a multitude of genres such as Foo Fighters, The Prodigy, Chaka Khan, Rick Ross, Big Sean, Seth Troxler, Kerri Chandler, Richard Ashcroft, plus many more sure to suit all tastes.

Beyond this, utilising Iceland’s out of this world natural landscapes, festival goers also have the option to attend unique side-events. These include the world’s only party inside a glacier (the second biggest in Europe, no less), the Midnight Sun Boat Party and new for this year The Lava Tunnel – two exclusive underground, acoustic music events within the 5,000 year old Raufarhólshellir lava tunnels, sure to leave a mark on the 50 people who are lucky enough to secure tickets for each show!

The festival is also committed to minimizing its environmental impact as much as possible. Since becoming carbon neutral last year, as certified by Natural Capital Partners, it is continuing to build on its reputation as one of the greenest festivals in the world.

WOW air’s direct route between London Gatwick and Reykjavik costs from just £29.49 one way, with a flight time under three hours.
