Soon-to-open luxury all inclusive hotel, Wyndham Grand Barbados, Sam Lord’s Castle Resort & Spa, has appointed integrated comms agency Rooster to manage its UK PR.
Rooster will work as an extension of Wyndham Grand Barbados marketing team to launch the resort to media and generate visibility across the UK.
A resort seven years in the making, Rooster will leverage its 24 years of media relations experience to generate buzz around the soft opening from 30 September, followed by the formal Grand Opening in early 2024.
With a rich history and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences, Wyndham Grand Barbados Sam Lord’s Castle Resort & Spa is set to redefine luxury hospitality in the Caribbean. The resort will offer 419 guest rooms including 34 suites with sophisticated architecture and sustainable designs, along with expansive ocean views and veranda-style private balconies.
The secluded hotel features more than ten dining venues, a 13,000 square foot spa with pool, relaxation deck, along with a state-of-the-art fitness center, juice bar and café. Surrounded by beautiful greenery and stunning oceanfront, Wyndham Grand Barbados, Sam Lord’s Castle Resort & Spa is committed to improving the environment and supporting the global and local community by developing and implementing sustainable programs that deliver economic benefits to the surrounding area.
Rooster will manage the resort’s ongoing press office, brand partnerships, events, and media stays for what is the first Wyndham Grand property in Barbados, and the largest all-inclusive resort on the island.
Rob Ferguson, Director of Sales and Marketing at Wyndham Grand Barbados, said: “Rooster’s extensive expertise and innovative approach align perfectly with our vision, meaning they were the clear choice for us when looking for our UK agency partner. We believe their involvement will be instrumental in conveying the essence of our distinctive resort to British travellers.”
James Brooke, Managing Director at Rooster, shared his enthusiasm about the partnership, stating: “One of the most highly-anticipated resort openings in the Caribbean this year, Rooster fought off stiff competition to win the Wyndham Grand Barbados launch and ongoing comms brief. Highlighting all that this vibrant property has to offer British travellers, we will deliver a dynamic PR programme that tells the resort’s compelling story and drives visitation.”
