Kristen Jarnagin, President & CEO of Discover Long Island, said: “Promoting Long Island as a year-round destination for both visitors and locals is an essential component in our destination’s marketing strategy.
“More than nine million visitors come from across the globe each year to experience what we have in our own backyard. Winter is the perfect time of year for Long Islanders and visitors in regional drive markets to get out and explore their home town with less crowds and an affordable edge.”
This off-season campaign, a first of its kind for the region, promotes Long Island as a year-round destination.
