The online ticket seller’s global reach drives sales for British attractions.
365Tickets, the print-at-home ticket provider for attractions across the globe, has reported a strong year for bookings with sales up by 30% in 2013 compared to 2012.
Strengthened by the summer heat wave and the continued feel good factor from the London 2012 Olympics, 365Tickets’ UK attractions in particular achieved marked increases in both purchases from the UK and the site’s growing international base of customers.
Sales for Drayton Manor Theme Park surged by a massive 86%, while those for Cornwall’s Eden Project increased by 75%. Bookings for the UK’s Historic Royal Palaces rose by 70%, while tickets for the ever popular London Eye were up by 35.5%.
“As the economic climate continues to improve, we are winning increased sales in all markets by helping people from all over the world plan their days out in the UK thanks to the great range of attractions we feature at competitive prices,” says 365Tickets’ CEO Andre Flambard.
“We work hard to ensure that we offer an ever expanding choice of attractions and bespoke multi-ticket options in the UK and worldwide which offer unique savings to customers. We expect to see this growth continue in 2014.”
