Resource Solutions

The brief:

As a leading provider of outsourced recruitment and consultancy solutions, Resource Solutions’ insight into the talent needs and retention challenges faced by global businesses is unmatched.

But capturing national perceptions and turning them into palatable content for the UK media so that it reaches our clients’ target audience is where Rooster excels.

That’s why Resource Solutions was eager to embark on a research-driven journey with us, to uncover what workers want and highlight the business’ expertise in helping companies ensure these needs are being met so they can become an ‘employer of choice’.

Our approach:

We set out to generate proprietary and timely data that would position Resource Solutions as the leading authority on workforce issues.

Quiet quitting, workcations, four-day work weeks and ChatGPT… the world of work has radically changed in just a few short years.

Keeping up with shifting employee expectations of their workplace experience is no small feat – particularly as Gen Z enter the workforce with a whole new outlook on work – but our findings helped to uncover some glaring trends.

And having insider knowledge of workforce sentiment has also helped Resource Solutions provide valuable advice to their clients.

The results:

Equipped with this intel, Rooster hit the ground running with hard-hitting data stories on issues affecting UK employees today – from the impact of rising energy bills on office presenteeism to the emergence of what we coined ‘climate snubbing’ job candidates.

The team worked hard to generate incredible results across national, business, HR and consumer titles – landing over 60 pieces of top-tier coverage in the likes of the Business Insider, Forbes, Yahoo!, Daily Express, MailOnline, SheerLuxe and People Management.

Our story about employees preferring an end-of-year financial bonus rather than a work Christmas party even made it on to the Chris Evans Breakfast Show on Virgin Radio.

The client was also thrilled to see its research travel overseas and feature in key national and business media channels across Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, France, India, Malaysia, and Canada.
