Raising awareness of an expanding hostel chain.
Rooster was appointed by Clink Hostels to make noise around the opening of its sixth property based in Dublin and raise awareness of the fast-growing hostel chain to support its rapid expansion phase.
To reach its target young consumer audience, we opted for influencer and press stays, hosting the likes of Buzzfeed, Irish Sun, Guardian and i news at Clink.
We also tapped into travels trends like female solo travel and marathon tourism – securing a dedicated interview for Clink’s COO with leading travel trade title Skift around the time of the London Marathon.
Our story around the economic impact of Taylor Swift’s eras tour on the city of Dublin coupled with Clink’s June occupancy stats led to an interview with Irish Independent.
To raise the brand’s profile among investors, we also targeted business titles like Raconteur – which featured our spokesperson as the leading expert in a piece on customer loyalty.
Within just eight months of working together, Rooster had organised five press & influencer trips, secured guest appearances on two podcasts, and landed over 40 pieces of tier-one coverage (average domain authority of 72).
