From 31 May – 2 June head to 5 Richbell Place, London to meet employers and get your winter job wrapped up.
Youth led work and travel brand JENZA and sibling brand BUNAC are hosting a Canadian winter hiring event from 31 May – 2 June at 5 Richbell Place, London. Open to 18–35-year-olds, the event is an opportunity to get hired by some of Canada’s leading employers in sought-after destinations including Whistler, Banff and Panorama.
With 200 jobs up for grabs over the three days, visitors will have the opportunity to interview with representatives from three Canadian employers – the Four Seasons Whistler, the Fairmont (Whistler, Banff Springs, Jasper, Lake Louise) and Panorama Mountain Resort. Roles available include housekeeping, slope attendants, rental fitters, ski instructors and more.
For those that can’t attend the event in person, JENZA will also be facilitating virtual interviews throughout May, June and July with 20+ leading resorts in Canada for their Work Canada programme. Those interested can interview for Pan Pacific Whistler (24 May), Blue Mountain (13, 18 June), Fairmont (17, 19 June), Sunshine Village (19, 20 June) and Big White (any time on JENZA’s Job Hub), with more employers to follow in due course. To be considered, applicants must be booked onto the Work Canada programme and have proof they’ve entered the Canadian visa pools.
Lucy Lynch, chief marketing officer at JENZA says: “Our Canadian winter job event is an opportunity for young people to get face-to-face with top employers ahead of the season and ensure that peace of mind that comes with having a job and accommodation lined up. That said, it’s also the perfect way to connect with other like-minded people also hoping to head out on season.
“Canada is undoubtedly one of the most magical places to explore and top of the bucket list for many young people planning to work and travel abroad. As such we’d advise anyone keen to book Work Canada now via the JENZA website and secure an interview spot asap. But if you’re based elsewhere and can’t attend the event in person – don’t panic! We will be announcing virtual interview dates with Canadian employers soon.”
