Ambassador Cruise Line is delighted to announce it has joined ABTA, the UK’s leading travel trade association and widely acknowledged as the mark of trust and reassurance associated with travel brands.
Ambassador is also providing an update on its financial protection arrangements. In compliance with the Package Travel and Linked Arrangements Regulations 2018, Ambassador Cruise Line’s guests are financially protected by a Financial Failure Insurance policy which is managed by TMU Management Limited and underwritten by Accelerant Insurance Europe SA. Ambassador Cruise Line has put financial protection at the heart of its offering since its inception and will continue to pay consumer deposits and balance payments into an independently managed trust account.
Ambassador Cruise Line Chief Executive Officer, Christian Verhounig, stated: “At the heart of the Ambassador Cruise Line proposition is one objective, to prioritise the guest. This extends far beyond the booking and onboard experience. We are delighted to announce that Ambassador is now an ABTA member. Our comprehensive insurance scheme also means guests are reassuringly financially protected and can book with confidence and peace of mind.”
As the travel industry faces a new, more cautious traveller landscape, Ambassador not only adheres to The Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 but seeks to further reassure potential guests with its innovative financial protection model, using intuitive technology to provide real-time data to insurers, currently unique to the line in the UK cruise sector.
All guests will be automatically transferred to the new scheme with effect from Thursday 29th September 2022.
