Swim Happy: WUKA Launches Period Swimsuit

Pioneering reusable period product brand, WUKA, has launched its first Period Swimsuit. The innovative design allows wearers to fully relax this summer when swimming, hanging poolside or even at the spa, safe in the knowledge that they will remain completely leak free.
Available in a medium absorbency which holds up to 15ml of period flow – around 2 tampons worth – the WUKA Period Swimsuit completely replaces the need for pads or tampons. It is created with a water repellant outer fabric and an ultra-absorbent inner liner with a hi-tech moisture barrier to ensure there are no leaks.
The one piece is crafted for comfort all round, with padded cups and a diamond back cut-out design. With performance also in mind, the swimsuit allows you to move through the water with less resistance even if your period is dragging you down. And like all WUKA products, the Period Swimsuit is size inclusive, available from XXS all the way up to 2XL.
Priced at £49.99, you can pre-order the WUKA Period Swimsuit with a 20% discount until Fri 13 May using code SWIM20.
WUKA is the UK’s leading period pants brand and was the first in the UK to produce fully leak-proof reusable period underwear that completely replaces the need for pads and tampons. And the even better news is that just one pair of WUKA period pants can save 200 single-use plastic-riddled disposables from going to landfill or polluting our oceans.
The brand’s period wear suits all different menstrual flows, holding from two to six tampons worth of period blood, and as a true advocate for body positivity, WUKA offers the most extensive range of sizes on the market – from XXS, right up to 6XL. This means that no matter what your flow, nothing will hold you back when on your period, enabling you to Wake Up Kick Ass every day.
