Irish Ferries’ latest route, from Dover to Calais, is now available to book – extending its network of award-winning services.
The new service launches on 29 June – with fares starting at just £69.00 for a car and up to nine passengers.
Bookable at IrishFerries.com, passengers can experience a different way of travelling to Europe – whether for holidays, adventure, or reconnecting with family and friends – with Irish Ferries’ exceptional hospitality and service.
Travelling on the fully-refurbished Isle of Inishmore, passengers can make full use of the upgraded Club Class Lounge, with spectacular 360-degree sea views and dedicated seating.
Throughout the journey, an extensive range of duty-free shopping is available (which can be pre-ordered in advance with an innovative ‘click & collect’ shopping service), while children can enjoy the dedicated and safe play areas, with free Wi-Fi and lots of outdoor space for spectacular sea views and fresh air. The ship also boasts the magnificent O’Flaherty’s bar, Boylan’s Brasserie self-service restaurant, and Café Lafayette.
Nora Costello, Consumer Marketing & Sales Director at Irish Ferries, said: “Our new route between Dover to Calais will bring even more choice for customers planning to travel to France later this year.
“Travelling with Irish Ferries means the holiday experience begins the moment we welcome you on board. We are proud to bring our ‘Sea Travel Differently’ customer-focused ethos to this popular and competitive route, and we know that our customers will relish travelling with us, and our own style of Irish-influenced hospitality. We can’t wait to welcome you onboard.”
This new service from Dover to Calais extends Irish Ferries’ network of existing award-winning routes from Ireland to Britain and from Ireland to France, now also connecting the UK to France.
Thanks to Irish Ferries ‘Travel Safe’ programme, customers can travel in confidence, checking in from the security of their own car, sailing with plenty of space in communal areas for natural social distancing onboard, with 100% fresh air ventilation and enhanced hygiene practices throughout.
Ferry travel makes for a safer and more flexible holiday option. Passengers have the freedom to pack up the car with an unlimited amount of luggage, bring their pets along, and travel exactly when and where they like once they arrive in destination. The added benefits of Irish Ferries’ Flexibility Option means bookings can be changed or cancelled where needed.
