Rooster Given Key to Short Stay Show PR Brief

The Short Stay Show, the leading event for the short stay hospitality and accommodation industry, has appointed Rooster PR to develop show awareness, drive consumer and business participation, and establish media partnerships.

Having hosted 1,400 visitors at its inaugural 2019 event, the show has already doubled in size for 2020 after winning ‘Best Trade Launch Event 2019’ at the Independent Event Organisers Awards and gaining support from industry leaders Booking.com, HomeAway and Expedia.

The Short Stay Show has brought Rooster PR on board to run its UK press office, build brand awareness, manage key industry commentary and position its joint co-founders as spokespeople in the emergent market.

Jim Curry, Co-Founder of the Short Stay Show, said: “We’re over the moon to be partnering with Rooster PR to capiltalise on the success of the 2019 event and to make 2020 even bigger. As a show that looks to unsettle and revitalise traditional models in the industry, the door for 2020 is well and truly open to all consumers and businesses looking for inspiration and opportunity in the year ahead.”

James Brooke, Managing Director of Rooster PR, said: “With people and businesses always looking for new, disruptive ways to travel, now is the time to look to the future. The Short Stay Show is driving the conversation around this burgeoning industry, and we are thrilled to be helping the team to solidify its reputation in this space.”

On a mission to supercharge growth, commerce and connections across the entire industry, the Short Stay Show is aimed at traditional hospitality providers who are moving into this high growth sector as well as owners, managers and investors of short stay accommodation who are looking to start up or scale up their rental businesses.

It is delivered in partnership with the STAA – Short Term Accommodation Association – which is committed to bringing the industry together to overcome challenges and seize growth opportunities within a stable and supportive environment.

The 2020 Short Stay Show will take place on 12 March and is set to welcome over 2,000 visitors, 100+ exhibitors and 100+ speakers to the London ExCeL.
