Ras Al Khaimah Unveils Emirate’s Very Own Sports Lounge Just in Time for the 2018 FIFA World Cup

Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority is offering residents and tourists a chance to enjoy the ultimate summer of sport in an air-conditioned lounge located on the pristine shores between Al Hamra Village and Al Marjan Island. The Sports Lounge is the largest purpose-built entertainment tent in the Emirate which will offer sports enthusiasts the ultimate live screening of matches, together with shisha and beverages. Sporting highlights include the 2018 FIFA World Cup, Wimbledon Championships, Formula 1, Tour de France and much more.

Starting June 15th until July 15th, guests can head to the indoor Sports Lounge tent to unwind and watch the best footballers in the world go face to face. With 27 TVs spread across 1,200 sqm of space, guests will be surrounded by numerous viewing opportunities including 10 private cabanas which seat groups of 8 – 12 giving them the opportunity to enjoy the experience in a cosier setting, with friends or family.

Catered by J.W.Marriott Dubai, the menu will include flavourful sumptuous food, with a wide array of a la carte options, bar food and sharing platters. Be it halftime, pre-match or post-match, guests can take advantage of a host of other activities at the lounge such as Pool tables, darts and foosball tables.

  • 15 June-15 July: Football – World Cup, Russia
  • 2-15 July: Tennis – Wimbledon
  • 7-29 July: Cycling – Tour de France
  • 8 July: Formula 1 – British Grand Prix, Silverstone
