Lovehoney Revitalises Affiliate Programme with a Move to Webgains

Lovehoney Revitalises Affiliate Programme with a Move to Webgains
2 December 2016 James Brooke

Award-winning sex toy retailer moves its affiliate programme after 9 years as the company turns its attention to new customer acquisition.
Lovehoney, the ‘sexual happiness people’, has moved its affiliate programme over to international performance marketing company, Webgains, as part of its new focus to reach out to and convert new customers.

Having achieve massive growth and a loyal following over the last few years, Lovehoney’s increased focus on its affiliate program is in-line with a robust TV advertising campaign. Lovehoney is the only sex toy retailer to advertise on mainstream channels and has been able to reach new audiences via this medium. Produced by Brave, the most recent TV advert runs after the 9pm watershed and is aimed at those considering buying sex toys for the first time.

Lovehoney will benefit from Webgains’ innovative new Powerfeed technology to enhance its publisher relationships and to help the team use the channel more strategically.

Webgains CEO, Richard Dennys, said: “There’s huge demand for adult toys and as the market has steadily become more mainstream, brands like Lovehoney have been able to use the affiliate channel to really push their brand message. We’re looking forward to working closely with the Lovehoney team in their objective to expand their customer base.”

Catherine Dunn, Lovehoney’s Affiliate Manager said: “As a brand we’ve hit a new stage in our journey and it’s important for us to have a network that can support our growth. We’re excited about what’s in store over the coming months, especially seeing the program mature further.”

The program is live on Webgains now.
