Givergy users can take part in flexible auctions and prize draws or purchase ‘buy it now’ items – giving people the chance to get their hands on amazing money-can’t-buy items and experiences not available anywhere else. Listings vary from high-profile celebrity meet-and-greets and signed memorabilia, to concert tickets and sporting events. Recent lots include superstar Zayn Malik’s customised Marc Jacobs jacket, in aid of Mind, and a trip to New York to see Hamilton Musical, with a stay at luxurious Soho House, in aid of Good Chance Theatre.

Jon Douglas, Founder of Givergy said: “It’s an honour to have been shortlisted in such a competitive category alongside such forward-thinking companies and charities. From the get-go our aim has been to help charities raise more. We’re passionate about advancing the landscape of charitable fundraising and promoting tech for good in the digital age so it’s humbling to receive recognition for this. We wish all those shortlisted good luck and look forward to the final awards night!”

The Charity Times Awards continue to be the pre-eminent celebration of best practice in the UK charity and not-for-profit sector. Now in their 17th year, the awards are run by Charity Times Magazine – the leading title for UK non-profit professionals. This year’s winners will be announced at the Charity Times Awards Gala Dinner & Ceremony on 28 September 2016 at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge, London. The event was attended by over six hundred guests in 2015 and this year is set to be bigger and better than ever.
