WOW air Launches Free Mobile App

New app for Apple iOS and Android to speed up booking and check in process.

WOW air, Iceland’s ultra-low-cost transatlantic airline, has unveiled a new mobile app allowing customers to book flights, manage bookings, add services, track details live & check-in and more.

Launched this month, the new app for both Apple iOS and Android, is available to download worldwide, operating a user-friendly interface and WOW air’s characteristic bright purple colour scheme, to ensure a seamless flight process for existing and future guests.

Prospective travellers can now search for and book cheap WOW air flights with just a few taps and swipes on their mobile phone, securing fares from as little as £39¹ (LGW-KEF) to over 29 destinations across Europe and North America.

Guests already booked on a flight can manage their booking and have easy access to all travel documents through the app, allowing them to change flights, add seats & bags, pre-order meals and also get direct links to other services such as hotel booking and car rental. Most notably, guests are also now able to check-in using their phone, significantly reducing waiting time at the airport, as well as monitor the latest arrival & departure information for WOW air flights in real time using the in-app flight tracker.
