On a mission to eliminate period poverty, remove period shame and stigma, and improve access to quality sustainable period products, Rooster’s brief was to make WUKA (short for ‘Wake Up Kick Ass’!) the UK’s most recognisable period wear brand.
From positioning WUKA as the go-to brand for all those who menstruate, to ensuring its fearless female founder, Ruby Raut, featured on the front pages of national newspapers as one of the UK’s most inspirational women, we took the brief of ‘getting everyone talking about periods’ to new heights.
Our ‘menstrual expert’-curated tips on topics such as nutrition, holidays, exercise, and generally kicking ass whilst on your period, consistently resonated with both editors and audiences, and with WUKA products featured in roundups across all of the UK’s top consumer and national titles, we ensured all those who menstruate have WUKA on their radar.
