Airline launches ‘Travel Guide’ job competition: Entries open NOW!
Icelandic low cost airline WOW air is offering the ultimate summer job for one lucky pair – the chance to relocate to Iceland and then jet off around the world as WOW air’s official ‘Travel Guides’.
From 1 June to 15 August, two winners will be relocated to the airline’s home in Reykjavik where they will be given a trendy downtown apartment, a car – not to mention a city offering summer sunlight almost 24 hours a day.
In addition, they will receive a monthly salary to cover costs as they document their adventures around Iceland and beyond, with the Guides able to select from the airline’s network for 38 destinations across Europe and North America to satisfy their Wanderlust.
The destination options will ranging from upcoming routes to vibrant US cities including New York, Dallas and Cleveland, to historic European capitals including Copenhagen and Paris, or sunny isles such as Gran Canaria or Tel Aviv.
The travelling duo will be tasked with documenting their travels through short, snappy videos and photos, with a focus on budget-friendly travel. The guides, that will also include their travel tips and hacks, will then be published as a series on the WOW air website for passengers to make use of when selecting a destination and planning a trip.

- Capture a short 2 minute (max) video of your hometown including a fun travel tip – the more creative and unique the better!

Entries are open worldwide from 23 April – 14 May 2018. The lucky winners will be chosen by a panel of judges and announced on 18 May.
