WOW Air Introduces Premium Seating and New 3-Tiered Ticketing System

New bundle packages and bigger seats announced.

Making transatlantic flying on a budget even more flexible, ultra low-cost airline WOW air has launched tiered travel bundles, offering flyers new seat and luggage options. For the first time WOW air is offering business seats and priority boarding, available from June 1st.

The new offering will allow travellers to upgrade from the current standard service and choose from three different bundles:

  • WOW Biz: From 156GBP* Personal item, carry-on bag, checked bag, seat reservation and cancellation protection. This package also includes priority boarding (available from March 1st), a complimentary hot meal and drink on board and a larger seat (subject to availability)
  • WOW Plus:From 79GBP* An economy seat, personal item (such as a purse, computer bag or small backpack), carry-on bag up to a maximum of 56x45x25cm/22x18x10in, plus a checked bag and cancellation protection.
  • WOW Basic:From 32 GBP* An economy seat and a personal item that must fit under the seat in front eg. a small backpack, pur­se or computer bag, up to a maximum of 42x32x25cm/17x13x10in

A new cabin of “Big Seats” will also be available in WOW air‘s Airbus A330 planes on long haul routes such as Los Angeles and San Francisco. With 37 inches of legroom, in contrast to airline‘s regular 30 inches, these roomier seats are specially designed with passenger comfort in mind and also boast a footrest.

Business class style seats will be available in other aircraft with XXL (35-37 inches) and XL (32-34 inches) seats on the fleet‘s Airbus A320 and A321 planes. Passengers will also be able to purchase larger seats as an add-on outside of the WOW Biz package, as well as fast track options.
