All ships on DFDS’ Dover-Calais and Dover-Dunkirk routes feature a choice of lounge and bar areas; the self-service 7seas restaurant offering hot and cold meals, snacks and drinks; a shop with up to 20 per cent off high-street prices on fragrances, skin care, and cosmetics, plus a range of travel essentials and duty-paid goods; and a Kidz Club children’s play area that provides entertainment and activities for children during the holiday period.

The Newcastle-Amsterdam cruise ferries have recently had a £4.5 million refurbishment and are equipped with four restaurants including the Explorer’s Steakhouse, an all-you-can-eat world-food buffet in the 7seas, the Blue Riband à la carte restaurant and ‘Little Italy’, a pasta and pizza restaurant. A brand new addition to the on board dining options from May 2017 is the innovative pop-up restaurant, where the chefs will present different monthly menus and delicious exciting cuisines from around the world.
