Rooster to Spread the Love for Amour

New travel trade event will target buyers and sellers in the business of love.

Rooster is pleased to announce its appointment to represent Amour, a new trade event that will ‘marry up’ romance travel specialists and destination wedding planners with the world’s most awe-inspiring and romantic experience providers.

Taking place from 12-15 February 2017 in Venice, Italy, the three day event is being produced by Worldwide Events, owners of travel trade shows including the Meeting & Incentive Forum and PRIVATE Luxury Forums. Distinctly, Amour will provide 100 hotels, resorts and wedding venues with the opportunity to meet 1-2-1 with pre-selected romance travel buyers. The event’s intimate size ensures effective networking opportunities, allowing time to build meaningful long-term relationships.

As part of the event, the organisers are also launching the inaugural Love Travel Awards – the first trade awards exclusively recognising the most romantic hotels and venues around the world. A panel of international travel professionals will determine who will take home the 25 accolades at the event, to be held on the second evening.

Rooster’s brief is to deliver a strategic public relations campaign to raise awareness of Amour and the Love Travel Awards, in order to entice both buyers and sellers to take part.

Andy Price, Amour & Love Travel Awards Event Director said: “The romance travel industry is booming, yet there are currently very few ways for buyers and suppliers in the industry to connect with one another. We devised Amour to counteract this, creating an annual event where genuine partnerships can be made. In light of this it’s fantastic to have Rooster on board as specialists in this sector to drive momentum for both Amour and the Love Travel Awards.”

James Brooke, Managing Director at Rooster PR, commented: “The B2B travel sector is an area that we have always worked in and it is innovative events such as Amour that ensure that the sector continues to innovate and grow. We’re looking forward to being a part of Amour’s success in its kick-off year.”
