Ambitious plans for further international growth as MOBKOI appoints three Managing Directors and launches new German office.

Following rapid growth, UK-based mobile marketing start-up, MOBKOI, has appointed three Managing Directors to head-up its UK, France and newly launched German office.

Founded in 2014 by brothers Quentin and Guillaume Le Pape, MOBKOI has grown by over 300% working with a growing portfolio of over 85 premium brands including Bally, Canon, Nespresso, Mulberry, GE and Maserati. To date the company has delivered 250 campaigns and works with over 1,000 publishers in 35 markets.

MOBKOI’s newly appointed Managing Directors include Donia Baddou (London), Steven Grant (Paris) and Vera Huebner, heading up the company’s new office in Frankfurt, Germany.

MOBKOI’s UK headquarters has seen phenomenal growth over the last few years which led to the launch of the company’s Paris office in January last year. The company has also secured an exclusive partnership with upday in the UK and France, the news aggregator service replacing Flipboard on all flagship Samsung smartphones.

“In 2016 alone MOBKOI grew by 325% in the UK thanks to Donia’s professionalism and ambition as our Head of Sales. We’re thrilled to appoint Donia as Managing Director for the UK as we take on further challenges in the coming years,” continued Le Pape.

Previously Head of Sales for MOBKOI, Donia is a dedicated and fearless expert in the industry from her experience in international media sales, including positions with the Financial Times and Teads.tv.

“I’m excited to be leading the UK team driving them to continue to exceed challenging targets year after year. Our London sales team has grown rapidly in the last few months and I’m keen to ensure our MOBKOI family ethos remains and strengthens as we continue to grow. I’ll also be working closely with Celtra to ensure we’re constantly offering our clients the latest creative technologies for mobile,” said Baddou.

Bringing with her almost a decade of experience working for the Financial Times, most recently as Sales Director for DACH, NL and Nordics markets, Vera will be key to building MOBKOI’s new office in Frankfurt, Germany, and to scale the company’s premium offering for global and local brands. Vera’s remit will cover Germany, the Nordics and Switzerland.

“As this is the first time MOBKOI will be introduced to this region, my main objective will be to ensure exposure to the company and position MOBKOI as a trustworthy partner with proven experience of creating and managing highly successful campaigns with premium brands. I am beyond excited to put MOBKOI on the map and to be loud and disruptive in this new market!” said Huebner.

From previous roles at Yahoo! and Radium One, Steven’s extensive experience and excellent connections in the industry will be integral in growing the France team from MOBKOI’s Paris office with a target to double revenue in 2017. Steven will also lead the development of MOBKOI’s local publisher offering and establish the company’s new programmatic service.
